The Reviews
“Mr. Buckingham is a genuinely unique writer in the crime fiction world. He has created a ferociously American nightmare by blending the entitled fraternity system with international drug cartels and money launderers. Some of the finest writing of our times.”
-- Jonathan Yearley, Chicago Sun Times
“The lead Detective thinks, acts and talks like Texas Detectives in this novel. That fact, alone, would make this book almost unique among the hundreds of crime and mystery novels that appear each year.”
-- Jim J. Fowley, Dallas Morning News
“There is an immediacy in the stream of consciousness style, not usually found in crime drama, as if Buckingham were telling the story to you in the room, laying out the case before the judge and jury.”
-- Village Voice
